Abba Posted December 22, 2008 Share #1 Posted December 22, 2008 MTA New York City Transit Service Alert Posted on:12/22/2008 1:14:15 PM Due to a train with mechanical problems at the Queensboro Plaza Station, there is no train service in both directions between the Woodside-61st Street Station and the Times Square-42nd Street Station. As an alternative, customers are advised to transfer at the 74th Street-Broadway Station for(E) , , and trains for service to and from Queens. Wonder if any A div guys could shed some light on what exactly happened...this was apparently a big deal, I heard announcements being made for it all day, even as far south as Fulton St. over an hour after I'd heard the first one.
