Harry Posted December 19, 2008 Share #5 Posted December 19, 2008 I just got off the Broadway lines and this problem is affecting a lot of passengers. The (Q)'s are running pretty bad right now. There were passengers all over the line waiting for trains.
metsfan Posted December 19, 2008 Share #6 Posted December 19, 2008 If the switch motors are old & worn out, snow/ice accumulation can hinder their movement. They need to get the jet car out & blast whatever is hindering proper movement asap! - A

metsfan Posted December 19, 2008 Share #10 Posted December 19, 2008 Here is the latest:MTA New York City Transit Service Alert Posted on:12/19/2008 5:52:13 PM Following an earlier incident , , and train service has resumed with residual delays. Also, due to an ongoing rail condition at the 14th Street-Union Square Station, please expect delays on train service in both directions. In addition, due to inclement weather conditions, please expect delays in service on , , , and train service in both directions at this time. Not related to conditons: For some reson there is a Pink '7' Bullet The MTA's website is too simple to have the exact color code, so it uses the closest one. If you look at the line on the map there, it is the same color. - A
