(Think back to 2009) I'm one of the few that concurred with taking the M104 off 42nd, so I remember that cutback it like it was yesterday..... Can you imagine how bad the M104 would be now if it still ran to the UN? Ouch..... Anyway, to give an answer, I'd say the M104 during the AM peak & the M42 during the PM peak.... In general, I guess I'd say the M104. The M104 used to tank right after it turned onto 42nd st in the mornings (similar to how the inbound Q32 in the morning just about empties out at Lexington) & barely picked up along 42nd..... During the PM hours however, it used to pick up heavy along 42nd (IINM, the M104 had more service than the M42 back then... If it did, then that would explain that).... ========================================= Someone else can post a new scenario/question for now..... Jova42R Posted February 27, 2020 Author Share #62 Posted February 27, 2020 to is fastest, but of your options, I think the to the to the would win. Of the remaining options, the first one is simply ridiculous. Like, seriously look at where you actually go. To make the final decision, I believe the BM5 to Q52 is a better bet than the BM1 to Q35, although they might be close. So I would say the best option is the second one in the full list.
P3F Posted February 27, 2020 Share #64 Posted February 27, 2020 Next: It's a nice Tuesday evening (around 7 pm) and you want to go from Kensington (Ft. Hamilton Pkwy & McDonald Ave) to Domino Park (Kent Ave & S 5 St). Your options are: - Take the B67 to the last stop, and walk. - Take the B110 to the last stop, and walk. Assume both buses will come in a few minutes, so headways aren't a consideration. Part 2: You've enjoyed your time and want to get home now. Since it is now 12 am, your options are different. You can: - Take the to the and take that to Ft. Hamilton Pkwy. - Walk to the and take it to Ft. Hamilton Pkwy. How do you get home?

No way is the M4 to the M66 faster when the M5 goes down Riverside Drive and stays on the west side the whole time. With the M4, you have to take it down Broadway, go crosstown, and then down 5th Ave to then transfer again (and then walk).
