BM5 via Woodhaven Posted July 6, 2019 Share #1 Posted July 6, 2019 During the Pride March, the M8 and M14 were diverted from their respective streets of operation onto Houston Street (eastbound service was diverted further south to Spring Street). Well, the M14 pratically dominated Houston Street, but you had a better chance of seeing the M8, and even the not-yet-existent M14 SBS over the M21. 2018 Nova Bus LFSA 5526 on the M14A SBS at East Houston Street & Mulberry Street by BM5 Photos 2019, on Flickr 2019 New Flyer "Xcelsior" XD60 6200 on the M14D at Lafayette Street & East Houston Street by BM5 Photos 2019, on Flickr 2006 Orion VII Hybrid 6741 on the M8 at Laffayette Street & East Houston Street by BM5 Photos 2019, on Flickr 2018 New Flyer "Xcelsior" XD60 6107 on the M14D at West Houston Street & LaGuardia Place by BM5 Photos 2019, on Flickr 2018 Nova Bus LFSA 5526 on the M14D at West Houston Street & Broadway by BM5 Photos 2019, on Flickr 2018 New Flyer "Xcelsior" XD60 6144 on the M14A at East Houston Street & Lafayette Street by BM5 Photos 2019, on Flickr
R68OnBroadway Posted July 10, 2019 Share #2 Posted July 10, 2019 I guarantee that the M8 and M22 will be axed in the redesign (maybe even the M21 but hey it might just be an hourly bus).

East and West Village would lose their minds if the M8 went. Highly doubt it. Service was just increased on that route after the 2010 weekend cuts!
