Nah, its 8743-8747, 8768-8772, and 8833-8837 left at Coney Island.

I was just wondering about 8768-8772

wasnt 8793-8797 still at Coney Island still doing maintenance? So odd that they didn’t send a full 10-car train. And wasn’t 8748-8752 still in Coney Island?

It went alone as a 5-car train to Jamaica Yard

It’s insane that 1 line needs 3 lines’ fleet. All the R160’s sent from Coney Island Yard to Jamaica is pretty much just to make the (R) 100% new tech. Oh and of course increase “spare factor”

The spare factor thing is something to be careful of. Yes CBTC lines require a high spare factor (the (L) and (7) have excess of 8 spare trains) but for this round, it has to be balanced so that the rest of the division doesn’t have a car shortage

after doing a bit of intricate looking:

3376-77, 3442-43, 3446-47, 3500-01, 3718-19, 3818-19, 3444-3777, 3628-3669, 3864-65 retired (not shown on the recent TTMG yard roster update).

3610-11 however is still listed as active according to the roster unless that is an error.

Sorry for the delay.  I had a week away to do a few other things during the "vacation" time (heh heh).

16 R-32s listed retirement February 15:  3376/77, 3446/47, 3445/3468, 3500/01, 3574/75, 3628/3669, 3716/17, 3738/39.

Your welcome!:D

The last update I had was dated February 15 and there were still 25 Alskaw R-160s at Coney Island:  8728, 8743, 8768, 8778, 8833 all ready to move imminently.

There were no moves expected the week of February 17-21, but I gather they did?  I was "visiting" Pittsburgh.  Great place in the middle of winter:mellow:

So now the Siemens are indeed going, so please be aware of "mixed" R-160 consists on (E)(F)(R)!?

8728-8732, 8778-8782 were moved this week to the (R) . 8833-7 is coupled with 8649-8652 for CBTC testing on Culver line.

CBTC is halfway done but today in the AM rush hours I saw countless R46s and R68s on the (N) line in 14 street union square and I saw one R160B siemens (R) train and I rode to Jay-Street MetroTech, but before I caught that siemens I saw a Coney Island stillwell avenue bound R160A-2 Half cuomo wrapped (Q) train well it's not connect to CBTC, So I didn't saw more changes on the (E) and (F) lines but just more Astoria sets in the r160s and still one siemens in the (E) and (F) lines are still sharing day by day and the (Q) line still have a whole bunch of siemens running and the (M) line? No changes because the r160s are only a 8-car set so that is what i'm seeing today and before. Let me see what you guys saw in the Coney island and Jamaica yard swap.
