Around the Horn Posted November 24, 2015 Share #3 Posted November 24, 2015 Nice shots... Since we're on the topic of the Marathon, can someone please explain why the Marathon shortturns have never been programmed into the destination signs? BM5 via Woodhaven Posted November 25, 2015 Author Share #4 Posted November 25, 2015 Nice set! Thanks! Nice shots... Since we're on the topic of the Marathon, can someone please explain why the Marathon shortturns have never been programmed into the destination signs? That's a good question. I doubt there's a M100 short-turn code for Lenox Avenue, and the Brooklyn buses probably use the closest destination possible to the terminal. I know that the B9 "Bay Ridge Shuttle" uses the FLATBUSH AV code,The regular B9 uses the 5 AV code and the B64 uses the normal codes for both routes. I have no idea about other routes because I make a point of staying home on Marathon day.

There isn't a code for Lenox, but there is one for 5th Avenue, which could have been used I guess...
