The "C" doesn't have assigned r46s. The "A" and "C" share the r46s. Therefore, they will share the r211s.

Kamen Rider Posted July 7 Share #8258 Posted July 7 I mean, right now… key focus… the 46s need to GO… not CBTC, not inspection sheds… they are falling apart and need to be retired. And that means, as more 211As come online, we may need to occasionally cycle one onto the C even if just for a day or two because I do not trust those hunks of junk ordered in the Nixon administration…

The original plan for option 2 is to purchase 4 eight car r211 trains (32 cars). The rest of option 2 as well as option 1 are ten car trains. We're good to go for option 1. Let's cross our fingers that the MTA sticks with the original plan for option 2 even if it means looking for other sources of funding outside congestion pricing. The air conditioning is terrible. Fortunately, the recent instances where I had to take the "A" or "C" trains, I've been getting r179's or r211's.

I went to Roosevelt Field Mall on the slim chance the Samsung store could help me with a certain matter (no dice, but I did manage to deal with it another way). I opted for a round-trip ticket between Atlantic Terminal and Mineola, where I could get a bus to cover the last leg. As far as the railroad goes, eastbound was fine, if somewhat less pleasant from Jamaica to Mineola due to the switch from a shuttle to a train to Port Jefferson, but heading back, there were no checks. To make matters worse, the train I got at Jamaica to Atlantic Terminal (not a shuttle) was comprised of M7s and was almost ready to leave when I got there, so I had no chance to see which car I was in until it was too late. As such, I only discovered I was too far back at Nostrand Avenue (6 cars only) because the doors didn't open.

Maybe it was just the cars I was riding or what.

Comrade96 Posted July 11 Share #8275 Posted July 11 If theyre still making deliveries via SBK, I think its because theyre replacing the track that branches off the at the portal that goes down past the new car acceptance facility being built
