metsfan Posted September 19, 2008 Author Share #3 Posted September 19, 2008 Bad contact with the 3rd rail, air hose problem, something jamming the door, and control cable problems are the cause of issues a lot of the time, but sometimes you get a bearing failure or brakes stop working too. I have never been on a train that had problems with brakes, air, electrical supply, or control cables, but i've been on trains with door issues, and once i was on a (NJT) train that tripped a dragging defect sensor & the train crew had to look for a possible loose air hose at the back of the train where the loco was. - A Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
