Yeah, those were already mentioned (as well as 3968, 4369, 4372, 4424, 4560). All nine of them are at Eastchester.
Calvin Posted August 8, 2021 Share #3177 Posted August 8, 2021 (edited) Not to change the subject, but some of these Next Gens movements to ECH makes me wonder if NYCT will save some units around 4000-4278, 4330-4702 for MTA Bus to remove the old gens in service. Or to change the fareboxes. Edited August 8, 2021 by Calvin 3960-3999: forgot to add

Yeah, there's just 2 left at Manhattanville right now, #6693 and #6709. #6693 ran the M2, and #6709 on the M104.

Bus is currently working on the M104 as of this morning. 6725 is OOS. NOT SCRAPPED! Manhattanville still retains: 6693, 6709, 6724, 6725. I'm sure there are more retired buses at EC that haven't been reported in the scrap thread yet.
Lawrence St Posted August 13, 2021 Share #3198 Posted August 13, 2021 Is there a certain rule or something that retired buses HAVE to be towed to Eastchester?

Idk, I've wondered the same thing. I feel like buses have been driven up there in the past. Perhaps the depot drains the buses' power before being sent to EC. Idk how all that works.

I'm assuming that this bus is either at Zerega Training Facility or at East New York CMF. (If I'm correct).
