Javier Posted October 15, 2015 Share #5728 Posted October 15, 2015 207 St yard also handles the R188's in case they break down right?
jon2305 Posted October 15, 2015 Share #5729 Posted October 15, 2015 I think Coney Island yard shop is a better option for the R188s to travel to since it only has to grow through the BMT junction & tunnels.

R62AR33 Posted October 16, 2015 Share #5731 Posted October 16, 2015 So besides 2096-2100, is there any other set bound for westchester at the moment? I do know the AD Wrapped on the will the last R62A bound for Westchester
jon2305 Posted October 16, 2015 Share #5732 Posted October 16, 2015 Don't know when 2156-2160 was on the but today, I saw it at Union Sq coupled with 1781-85 Also, 2306-10, 2221-25, 2326-30, 2346-50 is still on the I wonder how long they plan on keeping those particular sets on the since they really belong to the anyways. The 2300s have been there for over a year, I understand train shortage on the but that's about 25 sets from 240th St loaned over to westchester for a while. They should've sent the 1800s.
Daniel The Cool Posted October 17, 2015 Share #5733 Posted October 17, 2015 For those who said 2106-2110 was sent to Westchester was WRONG. I caught that consist on the during the Rush Hour yesterday
MHV9218 Posted October 18, 2015 Share #5734 Posted October 18, 2015 I do know the AD Wrapped on the will the last R62A bound for Westchester Why? That ad can come off any time. And then a set like that fairly low in number is prolly likely to head off soon-ish.

Catching a R142A on the is a once in a while thing now. You would think that but lately they've been using more of the R142As and whatever's left to boot. They tend to always put the R62As first to the storage yard after every peak service on the . As for the R62As on the , I suggest cherishing them on the while it last, for those who like them on the line because maybe by this time next year R62As would be a hard find on the Flushing line.

Really... cause I've had the weird luck of catching R62As , even when I wanted an R188. fanrailerz Posted October 23, 2015 Share #5748 Posted October 23, 2015 Looking for R62As got even harder! 7451-7459-7923-7460 is in service.
4P3607 Posted October 24, 2015 Share #5749 Posted October 24, 2015 It seems they are waiting to transfer the single R62A cars to the last. When they do, I'm sure they will convert a few more cabs to full length and keep them on the end of 5-car consists.
B46 via Utica Posted October 24, 2015 Share #5750 Posted October 24, 2015 (edited) Of course they are going to convert them it would make no sense to send them to the and not convert them into full width cabs they should be easier to operate that way Edited October 24, 2015 by B46 via Utica
