Eric B Posted November 21, 2011 Share #476 Posted November 21, 2011 From what I'm hearing about the controller here, it must be the same kind being used in LRV's (HBLR, Newark City Subway, The Tide, etc). It basically looks like a little paint roller. Perhaps it's deemed more ergonomically correct, because you don't have the central shaft in between your fingers? IIRC; didn't they test something lie this on a R160 set last year? I caught a glimpse of it, but then forgot all about it.

What's going on there? It's like the T/O's cab is by a door. ...OK, I think I'm seeing it right, now. The 62A's will be moved around. The 142's should not be affected at all.

Grand Concourse Posted December 15, 2011 Share #493 Posted December 15, 2011 Because I'm sure those trains are going to be testing for a few days. It's not like it won't be there the next day or something. Thus it was dumb to cut class just to see some trains. Maybe if it was a once in a while thing [Low V running on the , etc], maybe...
