aemoreira81 Posted April 12, 2014 Share #1 Posted April 12, 2014 And as old as 101 is---it is trackable. 101 on the Q111 (mis-signed as a Q113) 2490 on the X9 Notice how the luggage bays are non-existent on 2490 except for one.
NewFlyer 230 Posted April 12, 2014 Share #2 Posted April 12, 2014 101 is looking horrible I thought BP would do better with the bus. 2490 looks very nice, too bad I'll probably never ride it as I've never ridden an express bus and don't have any reason to use them especially in Staten Island. Via Garibaldi 8 Posted April 12, 2014 Share #3 Posted April 12, 2014 LMAO... I can't believe they have a bus like that on the road... Ridiculous...
ttcsubwayfan Posted April 12, 2014 Share #4 Posted April 12, 2014 Nice photos. I don't think it looks that bad. Sure, it looks a little worse for wear, but that's a byproduct of age, and anyway, it's not nearly the worst condition bus that I've ever seen. lupojohn Posted April 12, 2014 Share #5 Posted April 12, 2014 I caught 133. Is that the same as 101?

BxM4Woodlawn Posted April 13, 2014 Share #7 Posted April 13, 2014 Those 1995-1996 Orion V's are the BEST sounding buses in of all the MTA
engineerboy6561 Posted April 13, 2014 Share #8 Posted April 13, 2014 101 doesn't look like it's suffering from anything that a good wash and some new paint/vinyl/whatever on that mismatched back door panel wouldn't fix. As far as 2490's rear end, that's actually very similar to the taillight cluster shape on the new H3-45s.
Turbo19 Posted April 13, 2014 Share #9 Posted April 13, 2014 Nice comparison. I caught 133. Is that the same as 101? Yes, same model, 1995 Orion V.
Missabassie Posted April 14, 2014 Share #10 Posted April 14, 2014 101 is f***ed up! Bee-Line would NEVER let their buses go to shit like that...
NewFlyer 230 Posted April 14, 2014 Share #11 Posted April 14, 2014 101 is f***ed up!Bee-Line would NEVER let their buses go to shit like that... Well remember the MTA's buses are used heavily. Beeline routes don't have the same type of service like the MTA does. Of course when the buses first started off they were in good condition now that they are 18 years old and spent 5 years doing heavy work and so on of course they are bad now.
