Mtatransit Posted November 19, 2013 Share #3 Posted November 19, 2013 WHY? Why don't you just spend alittle more money and replace it with a new sign instead of getting the 1970s sign, those signs belong in the Transit musuem. Poor knocked out sign! BM5 via Woodhaven Posted November 19, 2013 Author Share #4 Posted November 19, 2013 Nice shots, but dude, those are some shitty signs. Lol, thanks! WHY? Why don't you just spend alittle more money and replace it with a new sign instead of getting the 1970s sign, those signs belong in the Transit musuem. Poor knocked out sign! Because they treat BC like crap. Have a NYCT sign and it'll get fixed, polished, cleaned, and polished again ASAP. Have a BC sign, and you'll end up waiting forever for progress... NewFlyer 230 Posted November 19, 2013 Share #5 Posted November 19, 2013 MTA BUS will always be treated like crap in every aspect whether it has something to do with service, information/scheduling, reroutes, fleet. Anyways nice pictures of those signs hopefully when the takeover is complete in who knows when they will finally be put to rest.
Grand Concourse Posted November 20, 2013 Share #6 Posted November 20, 2013 WHY? Why don't you just spend alittle more money and replace it with a new sign instead of getting the 1970s sign, those signs belong in the Transit musuem. Poor knocked out sign! Because, I believe that's the DOT's responsibility, not MTA bus or NYCT.
Mtatransit Posted November 20, 2013 Share #7 Posted November 20, 2013 Because, I believe that's the DOT's responsibility, not MTA bus or NYCT. I was actually using an metaphor, that its so outdated that might as well as put it in the transit musuem
Vistausss Posted November 20, 2013 Share #8 Posted November 20, 2013 They don't look too bad, but I wouldn't call 'em pretty per se (especially with that "Q67"'s weird alignment). The could've better taken a look at NICE's new signs.
