GojiMet86 Posted August 26, 2013 Share #1 Posted August 26, 2013 This was the first time since 2008 that I actually got out the Ferry Terminal and stepped into the island. It was my first time fanning it. I was thinking for a while to visit Richmond, but boy, you bet those RTS finally got me the incentive to fan it. My experience getting there wasn't the best. My friend and I hopped on 2107 for my first ride on an express line, the X10, at 57th Street. At Park Row, the bus opened its doors and it kneeled. However, when the B/O tried getting it back up, it got stuck. We were there for about 15 minutes or so. In the end, the passengers left the bus, and we headed to the X12. It took me about 1 hour and 46 minutes to get to Port Richmond. But it was worth it. Although on the way back, the 6:15 X10 left my friend and I biting the dust at Heberton Avenue, when it blew right past us. And that was after I had gone to the Port Richmond "Terminal" to see if I could refill my MetroCard for the ride. Got a card at some store, but it was a waste. And I had my Unlimited for the local line. Ended up taking the S46 to St. George.
