pjbr40 Posted January 31, 2013 Share #1 Posted January 31, 2013 I was riding the northeast line from Trenton to Newark at 4 pm. The train was 3806. The reason why i said this is unusual for me because they probably reprogram the signage on rail car to make it easier. I was on double decker train. Here what i noticed: 1- they show on signage what train it is which is "TRAIN 3806" then " NEXT STOP ....." 2-No signage saying " WELCOME ABOARD", " NJ TRANSIT", "PLEASE WATCH THE GAP WHEN LEAVING THE TRAIN" etc etc etc 3-The car i was sitting was probably damaged by SANDY because when the computer is doing the talking all i heard was the rumbling noise, but when the live crew speak on the intercoms, you can hear the voices clear. Did anyone notice the changes in signage lately?
Orion VII 4 Life Posted January 31, 2013 Share #2 Posted January 31, 2013 That could have been one of the new Multilevel 2s which have signs that display differently.
pjbr40 Posted March 9, 2013 Author Share #3 Posted March 9, 2013 i think they reprogram the signage because i rode the north jersey coast line and they got the train number on it too
Amtrak7 Posted March 9, 2013 Share #4 Posted March 9, 2013 Most ML's now show the train numbers. Helps ease the confusion over whether this train will stop at your station or is an express to the same destination.
pjbr40 Posted March 14, 2013 Author Share #5 Posted March 14, 2013 i agree with Amtrak because i got off the multilevel car again after Devils vs Flyers game and the car was made in 2008. Flyers you suck.lol
