Fresh Pond Posted June 25, 2011 Share #956 Posted June 25, 2011 "Baby" by Justin Bieber Now before any of you say anything, I'm not a "Belieber" (I still can't stand his guts), I just find the song barely tolerable enough for mme to listen to more than once
nycbusfan Posted June 26, 2011 Share #957 Posted June 26, 2011 Oh yes. Another listner request on NYCTF radio:cool:. LOL. Actually my favorite ELO song is "Don't Bring me Down." Even 30-plus years (1979) after its 1st release it's still used at sporting events and parties. It's a shame why this great group is not in the Rock Hall of Fame? Yet someone like Madonna(no offense to fans of her's)who was mostly a Pop/Dance/R&B singer in her carrer is in the Rock Hall.Still enjoy this great band. IMO ELO is one of the most underrated bands of all time. So many great songs and never even a number one hit. They have so many great songs that were barely hits period.

Shortline Bus Posted June 27, 2011 Share #960 Posted June 27, 2011 IMO ELO is one of the most underrated bands of all time. So many great songs and never even a number one hit. They have so many great songs that were barely hits period. Great statement about ELO busfan. Could not agree more. PS ELO actually 'indirectly' did have only one #1 US song. They were 'background' vocals to the hit Olivia Newton-John hit to the flop theme to movie "Xandu.'

Shortline Bus Posted June 27, 2011 Share #962 Posted June 27, 2011 I could listen to Hendrix all day long... Fire is a fast-paced one though, I love his slow songs the most. Hey Joe, Bold as Love, All Along the Watchtower -- perfect imo. If you're gonna quote Billy Joel at least spell DiMaggio's name right! Some more request from NYCTF radio. Here you go brother(MHV) "hey joe' hendrix http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yzkvWWMacyY And SIsubway the classic song you talking about is "We did not start the fire' Billie Joel. Enjoy guys.

Shortline Bus Posted June 30, 2011 Share #974 Posted June 30, 2011 Oh yes. This landmark song/video by Hip Hop Pionners RUN DMC. This was the first ever Rap song that was played in rotation on the former music channel in 1984 or '85. For you kiddes like Trainfan this is what later Hip Hop stars from Dr. Dre to Eniemn was greatly influenced by.
