paulrivera Posted September 23, 2016 Share #3929 Posted September 23, 2016 That's nothing, I once had an announcement that said that there were delays on the , , and (P) trains...That is so silly.. Everyone knows the (P) only runs when there's an Amtrak or LIRR strike.
TeeLow Posted September 23, 2016 Share #3930 Posted September 23, 2016 That is so silly.. Everyone knows the (P) only runs when there's an Amtrak or LIRR strike. It runs extremely fast too during those times. About 1000 drops a second
B3 Via Av U Posted September 24, 2016 Share #3931 Posted September 24, 2016 Well, you could have taken the to Avenue U for the B3, or the to the B3 if the was delayed as well. The route you took is unnecessarily long. I waited for about 20 minutes at 59th for an that never showed up, so I decided "what the hell" and took the B9.
CenSin Posted September 24, 2016 Share #3932 Posted September 24, 2016 (edited) Delays Posted: 09/23/2016 9:36PM Following an earlier incident at Lexington Av-59 St, and train service has resumed with residual delays. Any idea how that happened? Edited September 24, 2016 by CenSin

Not sure why you would go to 59th when you could catch either the or at Pacific Street.

Javier Posted September 29, 2016 Share #3938 Posted September 29, 2016 Thats normally a reroute I do when I'm playing Trainz 12. Once I had a glitched train at 23rd St on the that stopped all of the AI's along 6th Avenue, so what I did was resign all the trains into trains, and then set them express, then sent up all the trains via 8th Avenue after West 8th St. Had some go up to 168th St, 207th St or Bedford Park to not clog up the tubes.

Maybe congestion? I got on a queens bound at Penn, the arrived at the same time on the exp track, and I switched at 42nd when they let the go first.

RestrictOnTheHanger Posted September 29, 2016 Share #3941 Posted September 29, 2016 First time seeing this. Any details? Due to a platform safety condition at Union St, northbound trains are running with delays. Allow additional travel time. The took me to Penn Station today around 5:30pm. I was at Penn around that time when that showed up
Around the Horn Posted September 29, 2016 Share #3942 Posted September 29, 2016 So would anyone know why there was a downtown train at 34 Street-Herald Square on the southbound 6th Avenue express track, this morning around 9:20 AM? I would have gotten a picture but there was my train in the way.

Maybe due to a train with mechanical problems on the manhattan bridge Broadway side
Lance Posted September 29, 2016 Share #3944 Posted September 29, 2016 I did see it heading uptown just before 9am. No, it was not signed as anything besides its usual route to Astoria.
TrainFanInfinity Posted September 29, 2016 Share #3945 Posted September 29, 2016 (edited) I saw a few uptown and going via 6 Avenue and the north side of the Manhattan Bridge, something happened on the south side that made them reroute. Where do they even go to terminate? I heard at West 4th Street that one of the trains was going on the line to 21st Street Queensbridge, but I didn't hear about any of the rest. Also this morning there was a stalled train at Jay Street-Metrotech which made some southbound trains terminate at 2nd Avenue and some go over the line to Coney Island. I saw those and trains while I was on one of those rerouted (F)'s. Edited September 29, 2016 by TrainFanInfinity

Usually, they terminate at 57 Street, 21 St-Queensbridge or Forest Hills, depending on traffic conditions at the time.
