NYPD and EMS are currently assisting an injured passenger at 7 Av.

(A)(D)(F) trains are delayed in both directions.

Reminder: Southbound (A) trains are via (D) line from 59 St-Columbus Circle to 34 St-Herald Sq, then via the (F) to Jay St-MetroTech due to this weekend's planned work.

Something's going on at Grand Central. The MTA website lists an NYPD investigation, don't know what that's about (yet).

Anyways, (4) and (6) trains are skipping Grand Central in both directions. 42nd Street (S) trains are suspended, and (7) trains are not running between Queensboro Plaza and Hudson Yards.

Apparently, there was a bomb threat. Good thing it was just that though, service has resumed.

No (L) service between Brooklyn and Manhattan.

The stop on 8 Av-bound trains will be Broadway Junction or Myrtle-Wyckoff Avs.

There is no (L) service between Bedford Av and 8 Av while we work to correct a signal malfunction at Bedford Av.

Take the M14A-SBS or M14D-SBS bus for service between 8 Av and 1 Av.

Take the B60 bus for service between Myrtle-Wyckoff Avs and Canarsie-Rockaway Pkwy, making nearby stops.

Still ongoing, the (G) is effectively suspended. There's a possibility that a (G) may have made up the (F) north of Bergen too.

Part Suspended

(G) trains are suspended between Bedford-Nostrand Avs and Bergen St in both directions.

Emergency teams are assisting a person who was struck by a train at Clinton-Washington Avs.

For service between Bedford-Nostrand Avs and Bergen St, use B38 bus or see buses near you at bustime.mta.info.

Shuttle buses have been extended from Bedford-Nostrand Avs to Bergen St.

Reminder: No (G) trains between Bedford-Nostrand Avs and Court Sq due to tonight's planned work.

A work train apparently got a little too worked up:

Service resumed a while ago, but with northbound (2) trains operating express between 3rd Ave - 149th Street & East 180th Street

Local to Express

Northbound (2) trains are running via the express track from 3 Av-149 St to E 180 St.

(2)(4) trains are running with delays in both directions.

(2) train service between Manhattan and the Bronx has resumed.

(4) trains have resumed stopping at 149 St-Grand Concourse in both directions.

FDNY responded to a report of smoke on a work train at 149 St-Grand Concourse.

Alternative Service

While we work to get trains back on schedule, consider the following service alternatives:

For service between the Bronx and Manhattan, consider taking a M7, Bx15 or Bx19 bus.

For service between 149 St-Grand Concourse and E 180 St, consider taking a Bx21 or Bx19 bus.

Suspended

(1) train service is suspended in both directions.

The last stop on some northbound (2)(3) trains will be Chambers St.

(1)(2)(3) trains are delayed in both directions while emergency teams respond to someone who was struck by a train at 23 St.

Consider taking an (A) or (C) train for service on the westside of Manhattan.

Umm....did something happen or did they just give up? I see no notice of this on Twitter, LOL.

Part Suspended

No (F) trains between Church Av and Coney Island-Stillwell Av

(F) trains run between Jamaica-179 St and Church Av.

Nearby (D)(N)(Q) trains and local buses provide alternate service between Church Av and Coney Island-Stillwell Av.

For direct service between Manhattan/Downtown Brooklyn and Coney Island, take the (D)(N) or (Q) instead.

Also, just in time after the shuttle buses stopped running and left:

Part Suspended

There is no (M) train service between Myrtle Av and Middle Village-Metropolitan Av.

Our crews are addressing a switch problem at Middle Village-Metropolitan Av.

Amazing how all these issues start happening immediately after trackwork occurred, from Culver to Myrtle Avenue. Here's the latest on the Culver Line:

Trains Rerouted

Northbound (F) trains are running via the (D) line from Coney Island-Stillwell Av to W 4 St-Wash Sq.

Our crews are addressing a switch problem near Kings Hwy.

Expect delays in (F) train service in both directions.

Also, with(B) trains terminating at 145th Street and (D) trains operating express, couldn't they send the (B) to 168th?

Local to Express

Northbound (B) trains are running express from 125 St to 145 St.

Northbound (D) trains are running express from 145 St to 161 St-Yankee Stadium.

We're addressing a signal problem at 145 St.

For service to 135 St, take a (C) train.

They can just terminate the (B) on the downtown local track. They've done this before when the uptown express track is not available. Its better to just have the (B) end where it normally does, because even though it may not seem like much of a detour, rerouting trains to a different terminal means that the crew has to return that same train to the opposite terminal. Imagine you being a crew member on the train about to reach 145 St on the (B), and then at 125 St, you're told to reroute to 168 St. That means you need to turn your train around and return it to Brighton Beach. even more frustrating because then you lose your lay-over break.

Yeah, although it would hold up (D) trains either way (since those trains don't always leave immediately). In the scenario I listed out, you could have crews change on the upper level as well. Whether it's done on the way up or coming down, IDK (although I do think that changing on the way down would lead to the least amount of issues). It's not the most convenient setup, I know, but it beats having to take the train all the way to the other end. Plus it wouldn't have the potential to hold up as many trains either. For (B) trains to be using the downtown track at 145th lower as a terminal, plus having (D) through service, like everything needs to go right for it to work without delaying service.
