Abba Posted April 3, 2011 Share #1 Posted April 3, 2011 Current Service Status / Subways-456 Posted: 04/02/2011 10:26PM MTA Service Notice Due to a police investigation at the Spring Street Station, there is no(4) , and train service from the 86th Street Station to the Borough Hall Station in both directions. Please expect delays on the(4) , and train service at this time. Both terminals don't really make sense.
NX Express Posted April 3, 2011 Share #2 Posted April 3, 2011 Someone forgot about 42 Street and Bowling Green, apparently. Unless the planned work has something to do with it.
Amtrak7 Posted April 3, 2011 Share #3 Posted April 3, 2011 Someone forgot about 42 Street and Bowling Green, apparently. Unless the planned work has something to do with it. The planned work is rendering 42nd useless (hence why they're local the whole way). I don't know why they aren't using Bowling Green.
Gorgor Posted April 3, 2011 Share #4 Posted April 3, 2011 Someone forgot about 42 Street and Bowling Green, apparently. Unless the planned work has something to do with it. How would they terminate and at 42nd? That would create massive delays having the switch all the way to the other side. Although it would probably be better if they had end at 86th and to 42nd. And for the terminal in Brooklyn, why run more trains out to Manhattan just to make one stop when people can easily transfer to the to get to the same place. mark1447 Posted April 3, 2011 Share #5 Posted April 3, 2011 This is a 12-9. Trains are relayin at 86th not 42nd. Trains under city hall will relay there. Heard over the radio and was there. Damn mta didnt even tell its customers at 86th what was up.. Only told them to wait 4 the next train which was bs.

If it's that then we r bk to 1970z On another note also heard a 4 train was stuck behind it. Ether the train got backed up or passengers went on the rails to canal. 3rd rail was cut off. sovetskii52 Posted April 3, 2011 Share #18 Posted April 3, 2011 Most have sucked being on that train. Having to walk those dark and unforgiving tunnels to canal I always dreamed of being in a train derailment or some form of accident inside a tunnel, and then having to evacuate by walking through the tunnel to the nearest station. What an adventure that would be.
overclocked Posted April 3, 2011 Share #19 Posted April 3, 2011 so you would like to see people hurt or even dead just for your pleasure, just make sure you won't be traveling those tunnels in the bag yourself.
