Lawrence St Posted November 16, 2022 Share #37301 Posted November 16, 2022 Lmao, someone asked a Bx12 driver who was on layover if they were the Bx12 and the driver responded “no it’s the not in service bus with service to nowhere” 😂😂😂

trainfan22 Posted December 3, 2022 Share #37303 Posted December 3, 2022 A portion of 5th Ave will close to traffic only on Sundays in December. Expect detours on the bus routes that use 5th Ave..

Lawrence St Posted December 3, 2022 Share #37305 Posted December 3, 2022 Does anyone know why I’ve been seeing more and more new buses in some type of mode where all the clearance lights and hazards are flashing in unison?

What the b/o did was stopped the bus, then opened the doors... Motioned her to come back on.... ....then the second she got on the curb, parallel to the bus, he blew right past her old senile ass.... Every single person on the bus CTFU'd (myself included).... Some other passenger on the bus stated that that wasn't the first time she pulled that stunt either.... What happened, was that lady tried to get a 2 zone ride by paying for 1 zone.... Wanted to get to Asbury from somewhere along Norwood av; don't remember the exact street she got kicked off the bus at... Anyway, I wonder why they decided on dumping ppl. off at Mosholu Pkwy instead of Bedford Park Blvd ......

Lawrence St Posted December 5, 2022 Share #37310 Posted December 5, 2022 (edited) Are there any bus stops in NYC that have been removed but still remain or installed but no buses actually serve that stop? Lawrence St Posted December 5, 2022 Share #37311 Posted December 5, 2022 Also, between when the B37 was discontinued and restored, were all the bus stops put back in the same place or was it changed?

IAlam Posted December 5, 2022 Share #37313 Posted December 5, 2022 I’m on one of CS’s new novas and the seat behind the driver is available. I honestly thought they were getting rid of them since this new order was coming with that area blocked off. I’m glad too since that’s my favorite seat.
Lawrence St Posted December 6, 2022 Share #37314 Posted December 6, 2022 It’s a very sad reality in NY when the driver asks a passenger for their fare and the passengers response is “call the cops”. Shameful.

Shameful. Drivers aren't supposed to be asking for anything. They're supposed to hit F5 and leave it up to the to handle.
Lawrence St Posted December 6, 2022 Share #37316 Posted December 6, 2022 Isn’t 266 a NYCT bus? Why does it have MTAB logos on it?

Some of them have had those gaffs for over 5 years as well, so neither transit or Bus co have bothered correcting them after all this time.
trainfan22 Posted December 6, 2022 Share #37319 Posted December 6, 2022 7900 has the mask required sign, even though it's a bus that debuted after the mask mandate was dropped IIRC.

The one I know of is the bus shelter for the Q74 at Kissena/Melbourne. It got repurposed for the Queens College shuttle a few years ago.

They sometimes make mistakes when repainting buses. CP depot has a few of its original C40LF’s with “New York City Bus” on it. Off of the top of my head 194, 202, 217, 528, 535, 602 were mislabeled as NYC Bus. And then you have 230-237 which were transferred from JG.
Lawrence St Posted December 19, 2022 Share #37325 Posted December 19, 2022 I was at Blink Fitness and I saw an MTA driver doing a skit for TikTok, he walks by the desk without checking in/paying and the attendant walks up to him and tells him he needs to pay and his response was “Why it don’t come out of your paycheck so why should you care?” 😂😂😂
