Is it me or is that Lexington Av has problems whenever I'm on sometimes?

Like today track fire on the (5) train track to 125 st, use (4) instead, packed on all (4) trains

Lex always has problems.

Funny story yesterday, I took the HCHS test, and I took the (F) at Lex-63rd St. Man, is that station deep! Anyway, my friend decided to "summon" a train to arrive, and it did, but as an R46, and I was like, you just had to summon an R46? And he was like, sorry, I don't have powers to summon NTT's.

LOL!

Same reason NTT's can't be on the (1), because all the doors on a R142 have to open, not just 5 cars.

Wow. Awesome.

Seriously, how the hell did you come up with that one?

The NTTs can open the first 5 cars just like the SMEEs.

The (1) doesn't run NTTs because it doesn't need to. The R62As hold down service just fine.

Pshhhh really? Many people mentioned it already the reason the R142's are not on the 1 is because the crew is not trained to use em, and after an incident involving all the doors opening (oh those darn conductors are up to it again  :P) they are not allowed on the (1), idk what the policy for the 3 is tho

It actually has little to do with that. Otherwise, the 1 would've received 142s when the new platform at South Ferry opened. The 1 and 3 never received new tech trains because they weren't needed on those lines. When the new cars started arriving in 2000, both the 1 and 3 were using the relatively new 62As while the busier 2, 4, 5 and 6 lines were stuck with the aging redbirds. That little detail still holds true today with the 2 being a more demanding line than the 1 and 3. The Lex needs no explanation why it deserves NTTs. The only reason why the 6 is losing its newer cars is out of sheer necessity.

When it comes time to replace the 62s and 62As, then and only then will you see new trains on the 1 and 3 lines regularly. That will also probably apply to the 68s and the D.

I kinda feel sorry for QB riders. First 2 weekends of 2015, no express service. But it gets better. (E) to 179 for the next 2 weekends and (F) via 53 SB

Yup. That (R) on QBL is so time consuming. The express saves 10 minutes! And I'm one of those people who think that even 2 skipped stops on an express is important.

I think someone got a little to foamy and stole a R62 Rollsign from a (1) train cause now it has only one side rollsign and the only thing that's left of it is the cover! Has this ever happened before?

Thats some crazy shit goin on right now in the WHOLE system. All over FB. Happened so far to the Crosstown and QBL Lines and now, like you just said, the 7th Avenue

Then why does the (2) skip 145 Street when rerouted to 148 Street?

That R143 (A) video was NUTS! That guy was yelling like crazy! It's a shame that we didn't get to hear the announcements.

What I want to know is why did it say the next stop was Beach 90 Street?

The crew probably put in an (A) line program from starting out in the Rockaways.

The 143s probably don't have an (A) via the (L) line program. Also the C/R changed it to the regular (L) line program shorty after the doors opened, so you wouldn't have heard the announcements anyway.

Speaking of announcements, does anyone know when the MTA will do auditions for announcements like for the (Q) to 96 Street or the (T) or the Closing Doors or something like that? I would like to try out!

The (A) announcements are the same as the ones on the R160, the ones on the R160 can be heard somewhere on YouTube

Closing doors has already been done. (Q) announcements will be done by the same people that voice the (Q). The (T) will most likely be the same voice as the (N) and (Q), but it won't be done until the (T) is planned to come.
