train fanatic 12 Posted November 29, 2015 Share #11281 Posted November 29, 2015 Do You think the is ever coming back Only seemed to affect the the past few weeks. The makes a quick dash between Prospect Park and Newkirk Plaza in both directions, only slowing down when descending the ramp at Avenue H. I wonder if the slow order affects a longer length along outer tracks. I think it's the Traffic Jam that's between Parkside Av and Prospect Park

train fanatic 12 Posted November 29, 2015 Share #11285 Posted November 29, 2015 Why was moved from Brighton Line in 1986 to 4 Av? What was the purpose of the going to Bay Parkway at that time?
CenSin Posted November 30, 2015 Share #11286 Posted November 30, 2015 Every I've taken slows down around Cortelyou so it's not only the that's in effect. Probably inconsistent application of the rule. But I've probably gotten lucky consecutively.

Priincenene Posted December 1, 2015 Share #11294 Posted December 1, 2015 Wait wasn't it a train? I could've sworn that was Bay Ridge station... You can't see the station in the video, only the set # , the emergency brake and the persons face.
VIP Posted December 1, 2015 Share #11295 Posted December 1, 2015 Do crews need to change the R62A's LEDs from Express to Local before or at 125st Manhattan? From time to time crews leave the Red diamonds til Brooklyn Bridge, some crews change it to Green before or at 125 Street. Is there a standard or just mere preference?
Javier Posted December 1, 2015 Share #11296 Posted December 1, 2015 You can't see the station in the video, only the set # , the emergency brake and the persons face. Yes you technically can by the celing...
Priincenene Posted December 1, 2015 Share #11297 Posted December 1, 2015 Yes you technically can by the celing... The ceiling doesn't mean anything. It can be Jamaica Center, Roosevelt Island, W 4 St, we still wouldn't know the station unless we heard it from the announcements or if we can clearly see the station signs.
BronxBombers Posted December 1, 2015 Share #11298 Posted December 1, 2015 Do crews need to change the R62A's LEDs from Express to Local before or at 125st Manhattan? From time to time crews leave the Red diamonds til Brooklyn Bridge, some crews change it to Green before or at 125 Street. Is there a standard or just mere preference? I might be wrong, but I don't think it's required. People know that the is local and assume that its going to make all stops to Brooklyn Bridge.
BronxBombers Posted December 2, 2015 Share #11299 Posted December 2, 2015 I think that the via Lexington is more rare than the via 7th Av. This is the 4th time in 2 months I caught a 5 via the 2.
Q113 LTD Posted December 3, 2015 Share #11300 Posted December 3, 2015 So I was on the R188 coming from Manhattan and near the window, I saw a lot of scratches(key scratch or something). Does the R188 has hidden cameras? If not, then when? Assuming it requires money to install cameras. It's like whenever the orders new fleet of cars, some people thinks it's "cool" to ruin the beauty of new subway cars(NTT's) and I know the is trying their best to keep these cars in good condition. It is just ridicules.
