IRT Bronx Express Posted August 15, 2011 Share #351 Posted August 15, 2011 Careful there buddy, you're sounding awfully a lot like another poster here with similar expansion ideas. I won't post any fantasy ideas in any subway threads (except for this one), at all. B) That poster you mentioned is, without a doubt, a lost cause.

Guest lance25 Posted August 17, 2011 Share #353 Posted August 17, 2011 As of this post: signal problems at Cypress Hills have knocked out the and between Jamaica Ctr & Broadway Junction a manhole fire at Sutter and Miller Avenues has suspended the entirely and forced the to run local in Brooklyn and, while relatively minor considering, uptown trains are bypasssing Ave U due to signal problems.
Guest lance25 Posted August 18, 2011 Share #354 Posted August 18, 2011 Just a heads-up for folks using 71 St on the West End: southbound trains will continue to bypass the station until late October, not just until this Friday.

TwoTimer Posted August 19, 2011 Share #356 Posted August 19, 2011 Once the Brighton Express is restored, I will head to Brooklyn.:tup: And don't assume it will be right after that big September GO, remember all the temporary plats that have to go down, tracks and signals being refurbished and restored, road testing, with some gap time for anything that may come up. These are the times where they can do things in this area that normally would fall on the backburner (and I dont mean station upgrades north of Newkirk).
overclocked Posted August 20, 2011 Share #357 Posted August 20, 2011 I would love to hear one day a Conductor say "Please stand clear, the doors are closing. Please hold on." just like on JFK Airtrain. It would make my day.

Mysterious2train Posted August 21, 2011 Share #360 Posted August 21, 2011 Back on Tuesday, I think it was, I rode a PM Rush Hour in service to New Lots Avenue. I think it was the same New Lots-bound train I was on where all the passengers were booted off at Utica over a week ago, but I'm not sure (It was about a few minutes later, but all the trains seemed to be delayed a bit, so that could explain it) There was a conductor switch at Utica, though. A fair amount of people got on there, although some people didn't get on; I guess they were content waiting for the or something. For no real reason other than the lulz, I decided I'm not going to use Avenue H ( until the renovation is complete in about three weeks. 'Til then, I'll just use the (B8)

6 Lexington Ave Posted August 24, 2011 Share #373 Posted August 24, 2011 Nah, Lexington's the way to go. I was on the once and it was amazing. Check it out! When the and lines are running without delays the service is amazing!!!! There aren't THAT many delays. They're mostly caused by stupid people and the occasional signal problem... Anyway I like the lex too!

alejr88 Posted August 31, 2011 Share #375 Posted August 31, 2011 Yesterday I was out on the Rockaways and I saw 4 sets of R32 trains going to Lefferts Blvd. I also saw 3 sets of R32's going to Mott Avenue. As I went to Broadway Junction, every train I saw was an R46. So I was wondering if the is now 100% R46s and the remaining R32's the moved them to the A.
