mark1447 Posted March 29, 2011 Share #3 Posted March 29, 2011 Actually this G/o should of been over. It started at around 6PM heard it over the radio. My 9PM from Fulton went to 241st via Bway normal with delays. Some (5)s went to Brooklyn after 9pm and train headways on the Bway at around 20min in between. They could be turning service still for some trains, but the rest of the (2)s are normal.. Or this g/o is over. The issue was on the WPR Platform at Mott. Right but it was for about 5 hours.Thats a long time for service to be suspended like that.Wondering if it was a minor derailment.
CTK246 Posted March 29, 2011 Share #6 Posted March 29, 2011 You guys should've been on the that left Flatbush at 8:37pm. The crowding was so bad that by Franklin Avenue, getting out of the train was nearly impossible. That train took a good half hour lateness getting to the terminal. Did the train do a battery run?

That might explain why i only saw NB(3) trains at Fulton for half an hour.

Guest lance25 Posted April 3, 2011 Share #14 Posted April 3, 2011 Jay Street-Borough Hall? Thought it was changed to Jay Street-Metrotech? Yeah and Broadway-Nassau St is now Fulton St. It's just a simple typo. The folks who type out these service alerts are probably so used to the old names that they come more naturally than their newer ones. Plus, riders know what they mean. R160 Deltas!!! Or R160 trains via the line. Plus, during the time of this service change, all downtown-bound trains were running via the line.
