Amtrak7 Posted November 13, 2010 Share #5 Posted November 13, 2010 "working together" could just mean "keep negotiating", or it could mean "keep operating". I hope that LIB survives!
East New York Posted November 13, 2010 Author Share #6 Posted November 13, 2010 "working together" could just mean "keep negotiating", or it could mean "keep operating". I hope that LIB survives! It's a little of both. There is still much negotiating to be done. Either way it ends up, LIB isn't going anywhere.

Amtrak7 Posted November 15, 2010 Share #10 Posted November 15, 2010 The MTA never said they wanted to give up LIB... thet just wanted nassau to foot more of the bill. ...and when Nassau got that request, they wanted to privatize.

Grand Concourse Posted November 15, 2010 Share #12 Posted November 15, 2010 Nassau better pay up what it owes and I don't mean year to year stuff, I mean everything they owe. I still think the MTA would've been better off cutting LIB loose and let them fend for themselves. Let the money be better used in the 5 boroughs.
