Art Vandelay Posted October 27, 2010 Share #26 Posted October 27, 2010 I am of the belief that R17-22s should have been rebuilt for the 7 line instead of the Worlds Fair Fleet. The 7 line cars were terrible by the mid-late 90s
Art Vandelay Posted October 27, 2010 Share #27 Posted October 27, 2010 Also- a quick nitpick- the GE R29s lasted a few weeks longer than the R26 and R28s did. Not sure whether the date mentioned here was for the R26-28 or the R29s.

R32 3838 Posted October 28, 2010 Author Share #29 Posted October 28, 2010 They truly did. Stated in this. http://nycsubway.org/articles/chiasson-r26-29.html yeah, About 4 weeks before that, I rode an R26 on the , To Me they should have sent those cars to the to bump off the R36WF's, The Mainline R33's didn't do good with the single R33 units, but The R26/28's would have done perfect with them.
