I have to wonder what those garages are receiving back. This should become more common because Manhattanville is losing the M60 come December 30 (and 126 Street will have O7s from at least the 3875-3899 batch). 8896 may have been pulled out of storage, but that is a slow accelerating bus and governed at 40. If I had to make a guess, MHV will get 5013-5025 and 5055-5071 along with some random 1996 Novas in exchange for 3875-3899 and 3950-3959, which would head to 126 Street; I would be surprised if 126 Street got any Li+-Next Gens. Currently the buses are only running for Midtown pm rush hour (or at least that's my guess for when they're reaching Midtown), it looks like. 5017 was on the M2 today, 8896 has been bouncing around, it was in Harlem yesterday around 4:45. I'm fairly confident it was on the M7 today. Hopefully these buses will stay around for a little while, I've only gotten to ride on 8896 (which is really quick). Nicely done. I have yet to see 8896, thats another route I gotta look for the RTSs on, the M7, but thats going to be such a painful wait. I have a question, are those displaced Next Gen Hybrids still at Manhattanville? I havent see any today.
