Amtrak7 Posted April 3, 2010 Share #5 Posted April 3, 2010 This is at 71 Av, are you sure it was not a T/O playing with the signs? When I see them at 86 St/4 Av on a weekend, I'll know it's true.

Urbanfortitude Posted April 3, 2010 Author Share #7 Posted April 3, 2010 This is at 71 Av, are you sure it was not a T/O playing with the signs? When I see them at 86 St/4 Av on a weekend, I'll know it's true. I got interior shots to post when I get home. considering I caught it at 74th waiting for an express train to 71st I figured it'd be pretty weird to have the T/O playing with the signs. bveguy Posted April 3, 2010 Share #8 Posted April 3, 2010 It would be weird seeing those at my home station, since I've been living with those R46s there for almost 7 years.

R32 3348 Posted April 3, 2010 Share #13 Posted April 3, 2010 They just started on Wednesday IINM. R323776 on this board caught it at 65th St. going Manhattan bound on Wednesday, which is the earliest case of an R160 in service (aside from a re-signed train) that I've heard of. It didn't run on Thursday but I think it ran yesterday too.
Dave160 Posted April 3, 2010 Share #14 Posted April 3, 2010 I just got off 2 sets today and another 3rd is floating around. One set is a 9422/9717, another is a 9302 and the 3rd one I am not sure. I'll upload my pics tonight. But anyway nice pics Stan! Btw if you're looking for one of them, you wont have to wait long, they come quick! bveguy Posted April 3, 2010 Share #15 Posted April 3, 2010 Well, time to adjust. But I'm glad my home line is finally getting R160s. I can't stand the R46s anymore (even though I like it when the storm door is unlocked (very common now.))

PATCOman Posted April 4, 2010 Share #19 Posted April 4, 2010 Slammin pics! A few years back, Broadway was diverse with everything except an R38, R44, and an R143. Now it is only R160, R46, and R68/A.
GojiMet86 Posted April 4, 2010 Share #20 Posted April 4, 2010 Cool pics, Urban! Seems like a lot of people caught it Saturday.
