  1. Both the N and the Q run local overnights. The Q switches to the local track N/B before prince st and switches back south of 57/7. They don't "trip over each other". And yes, during overnights the Q makes all local stops from Canal to 57/7. Now as to relays from a few posts back, yes, the F relays at 179. Always does. It arrives on the east bound platform and departs from the westbound platform. relays includes: Bronx: 205 , Parkcester Manhattan: 168th , Brooklyn Bridge , Bowling Green , Broad St , Chambers (J and M when needed) (not sure about overnight 3 train) Queens: 71/Forest Hills , 179 (F, E), Broad Channel (Rockaway Blvd-Summer weekends only)Rock Pk Shuttle Brooklyn: Church Ave , Euclid (C and Lefferts Shuttle), Utica , Kings Hwy (F, only during the rehab) Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk
  2. I just passed it. The full 10-car set! Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk
  3. The whole NTT fleet gets updated sign programs. They update what they need, and upload it into them when they service them Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk
  4. What do you mean? It's not like they can only fit a certain number. It not limited like a roll sign Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk
  5. On usually passing around noon Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk
  6. I think one is at Broad channel now. Passed a new tech on the test track but didn't see the numbers. There was also a set of 46s so I assume it was a 179 Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk
  7. I have a question. Do the Coach USA routes, like the 14 and the 20, accept NJT monthly bus passes? Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk
  8. Those buses do indeed accept cash. At PABT, they accept cash except from 3-8 when you must have a ticket. As far as stops, whenever my bus interlines with Coach USA, I see its routes listed on bus stop signs as well and the 11a is considered a "local" Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk
  9. I saw that set Tuesday night. I think its the only one left with those knobs Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk
  10. Not necessarily. They could always use that four car for an opto job on the M Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk
  11. I reverse commute on the 166 so I have no choice but to catch the locals. Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk
  12. Actually I first started taking the 178 out of GW Bridge Bus Term but the subway ride to it long (Practically the entire length of the A train-about 1 hr 40mins) even though the 178 ride is only about 15 from there. Either way it balances out to the same overall travel time. But from the 159, by the time I usually get to Ft Lee it's a longer wait for the 178/186 than the 756 usually. 13. 1)it only works inside the stations for people like you who'll do stuff like that.2) are you outta your mind? Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk
  14. Mileage. They equipped all of the 143s and some of the 160s to compliment full peak service with spares and a few more spares that will rotate among the BMT East. It's not that they don't need many. In fact they made sure they have more than enough. Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk
  15. You'd be surprised that you may actually not hear yourself from inside the cab. And it also sounds like there was a lot of radio chatter where she was probably trying to find out what stops she's to make from Rail Control. In other words, she was probably just having a bad half-trip. Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk
  16. I commute on the 166 local (I work in Englewood). That my friend, makes just as many stops, and turns since Blvd East zig zags all the way to North Bergen. Sometimes I take the 159 to the 756 just for the straight shot up Bergenline (and the Neoplans) Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk
  17. They also have them along Fulton St in Brooklyn. As far as the CBTC in the 160s, those that have them installed are used for L service. Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk
  18. I just started commuting on the 166/T/X. That X is a dope ride! Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk
  19. Thats probably the four car set Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk
  20. Wasn't able to. Just happen to look up when heading to work Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk
  21. The ten car R179 is out in broad channel right now. Yup, the whole ten car set Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk
  22. Probably because it is too good to be true. They have to go thru the 30-day non -revenue then the 30 day revenue. And some keep forgetting that is one little thing goes wrong, even so much as an indication light not working properly, the 30-day test starts all over again. And I don't even think they have a full 8-car set to even see service on the J/Z yet. Has the second 4-car unit come in yet? Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk
  23. One set is a 10 car. The other is an 8-car Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk
  24. It's 2 cars. An "A" car (couldn't see the number) and behind it is 3052 pictures below. Sorry for the horrible pic but NJT doesn't seem to wash their buses. Sent from my LGLS755 using Tapatalk
