    Why couldn't LIRR cross honor to at least Flushing Main Street? Lol @ cross honor for stations BETWEEN Penn and Woodside, there is no stations between Penn and Woodside on LIRR!

    Right now there's three different bus fleets on the B44 SBS, SBS wrapped XD40, Nova Artics and 6117 AND 6119 are running right now. B35 is mostly XN40s with some C40s, nice to see C40s run on the B35 cause ever since JG got XN40s, C40s hardly ran on the B35 for some reason.

    I was lucky enough to find an Orion CNG, however those snow chains ruin the ride. I originally was gonna fan an LFS/Hybrid on the GC routes, but then I stumbled upon an Orion CNG, change of plans!😃

    The B35 is still using only XN60s, was hoping JG would get loaned some RTS or Hybrids, oh well.

    I wonder if depots will have trouble making service today between buses being used for the various subway shuttles AND 40 footers being used on artic routes..

    An bus I actually remember riding appearing in this thread... pretty cool. I rode shortly before it became a swing bus, it was a decent bus.

    Surprised Weekend G.O's weren't cancelled due the storm this weekend. There's a couple of shuttle bus G.O's and bus service goes down the crapper in snowy weather.

    I think both fleets can do 50 years of service easily. They have been well maintained their entire careers and are stainless steel.

    I just got off an 42 Z train, rode from Broad to Broadway Junction... that was the only 42 set I saw, that very well may have been my last ride ever on a 42 train😓

    If the RTO source said they are training crews on how to operate 179s then it's a credible source IMO. When the 160s were coming in crews got trained in the weeks leading up to the 160s debuting on a new line at the time.

    When they was last on the they ran on the rush hour only Rock Park specials. If they limit the 42s to those runs that would be a great place to put them.

    There's a whole bunch of M9s outside of the Kawasaki plant in Yonkers with no trucks on them. IDK if these same units that orgainally had the yellow face and to be repaired due to derail while being delivered. There's also some PA5 (Old ones) there.

    Today there was at least 4 sets of M3s in service off peak on the Hudson & Harlem lines😁

    Hills shouldn't be an issue, the BX9 and BX12 SBS have some mean hills along their routes and artics run on those routes just fine.

    I seen an R32 train after I made my post lol. Nice to see 32s still on the as I haven't seen one on the line these past couple of days, the one I saw today was the first one I saw this week.

    They store trains on the unused tracks between Bowery and Canal. I wonder if they are still avoiding laying up tech trains at 111th street. They didn't want Tech trains layed up there cause of fear of graffiti artists tagging them. @Jemorie It's common to see 1 - 2 sets in service off peak.

    4872 has a whine, IDK if you can hear it inside the bus but you can certainly hear it on the outside.

    Damn, a lot of trains were taking OOS due to mechanical problems today, just take a look at NYCT Twitter page. The train in front of mine got pulled from service due to mechanical problems, that one didn't make the Twitter page. It's funny as an train got pulled from service at Alabama Ave around the same time the L train in front of mine "broke down" at Atlantic Ave, it went straight to the ENY yard leads from Atlantic.

    The Bronx is covering the shuttle, even ECH lol. ECH has an NG not an MCI case anybody wondering. No artics ethier.

    This weekend the N/B & is going via the due to "equipment testing". Is this R179 related? Or related to an actual train testing?

    There's a Nova LFS on the S79 right now! What an pleasent surprise! 😄 I was gonna take the SIM4C back I hopes it would be an MCI but then the LFS 79 showed up😃
