  1. That photo is real, it's an R17 on a fan trip IIRC.
  2. IDK if it ever happened post GOH but the cars that became the GOH redbirds have ran on the Not my photos credit goes to nycsubway.org.
  3. Sooo did any R142s run on the or today? I rode the and didn't see any R142s on the line, only the 62As. I think that pic of the 142 layed up at 103rd is an old pic from the terminates at 96th G.O and we got trolled......
  4. ^^^ Wow I suggested that years ago! If the B div does summer swaps with the R32s, why not in the IRT?
  5. Yeah, "2510" is now on the S61, so a Prevost tracker probably somehow ended up in a LFS.
  6. This isn't necessary at all. The R46s aren't that bad. They ran R32s on literally the longest line in the system off peak and weekends and the R46s are far more reliable than the R32s were.
  7. The R32 in storage at Canarsie Yard HVAC is still on even though it's been sitting there for months. Heard it humming this evening.
  8. I know that coach buses sometimes ends up on SI local routes but this is the first time I heard of one on a ferry route. From what I understand they usually they end up on the 57/59/89. BTW 2510 is still on the S44 hours later... very NJT like!
  9. 2510 is tracking on the S44 at the ferry terminal, wtf?
  10. I did not know that these two units was saved, thanks. I thought 5249 and the RTS from Flatbush (forgot the number) donated to the FDNY was the only ones from the 98-99 batch left.
  11. RTS 5227 was preserved? It's in the new Scott Stringer for Mayor commercial which only came out a couple days ago... Or this is 5249 and they changed the number plate for the commerical? Also interesting to note that this RTS has Fresh carpet seating when most units in the 4900 - 5249 batch had had hard seats towards the end of their service lifes.
  12. Yesterday during the PM Rush, the RR crossing style gates at Rockaway Parkway were stuck in the down position , which led to a whole bunch of B6/42/82 buses getting stuck inside the terminal... Pic below of what happened. On twitter they blamed it on construction...
  13. The track geometry car from the NYC Subway actually ran inside of ESA already, it got there via Linden Yard connection between the subway and the Bay Ridge Branch. There was footage all over youtube when it happened. A train actually traveling inside of ESA is a huge milestone. I'm surprised nobody posted it on here when it happened.
  14. The last W/B B82 SBS is at Flatbush Ave with NO SBS 82 bus tracking behind it, had to end up taking a local when I wanted to ride the SBS smh. Who knows when the next W/B SBS B82 will show up.
  15. Some MTA GMC RTS were resold to an Rhode Island bus system. The MTA doesn't resell buses cause they beat them to a plup over the course of their service lifes and most units aren't worth reselling come retirement time.
  16. Wow, that bus is saved on my tracker app and it was in service earlier, was gonna try to catch it, but it stopped tracking, this explains why. The three depots that have Nova hybrids hardly run them for some reason.
  17. There openings in the walls on the 4th Ave line that are big enough that a person can get through.
  18. Got the vaccine at CI location, other people used this vaccine site when I was there as well. Waited for 15 minutes after, got my free metrocard then I went on my way. BTW they ask for health insurance which I have, but it caught me off guard. I wonder they will give you the vaccine if you don't have health insurance?
  19. IRT is messed up cause a train with mechanical problems went down at Flatbush terminal, and had to be rerouted to Utica and New Lots, then another or the same train went down at Nevins Street. IND was also messed up in Manhattan today due to a variety of reasons. https://mobile.twitter.com/NYCTSubway/status/1392552087293243393
  20. It was posted here a while back, that ENY has a small amount of maintenance bays, so they can only work on a limited amount of buses at an time.
  21. Today there was an vaccine bus (not MTA related) posted up on Rockaway Parkway today. However I googled "mobile vaccine clinic" on my phone and no schedule is posted for this vaccine bus SMH. Looked like nobody was taking advantage of the bus as the as the workers were just sitting there doing nothing.
  22. I plan on getting the vaccine at the station cause (1 its easier than booking at appointment at an Pharmacy and (2 I really want that free metrocard so I can ride SBS routes as much as I like without worrying about the SBS machines messing up my reduced fare card. I have a feeling its gonna be in a van outside of the station and not in the station, just like those vans they have for covid tests. So cleanliness shouldn't be a problem. Before I heard the news of this, I was gonna get vaccinated at one of the tourists locations that De Blasio was talking about, but I'll do this instead.
  23. I saw 8755 on layover and snapped a quick pic, I didn't ride it cause I had no idea what route it was gonna run on and I didn't want to stand if I was at the end of the boarding line, etc. I was walking down Parsons and saw an Cuomo scheme LFS w/ Jamaica depot sticker and first thought to myself, WTF, JAM don't have a Cuomo LFS and then I realized, oh s*it, its 8755!
  24. https://www.google.com/amp/s/pix11.com/news/coronavirus/pop-up-covid-vaccine-sites-coming-to-subway-lirr-metro-north-stations/amp/ Only if you get your vaccine at an MTA hub, the stations are listed in the article from Wednesday to Sunday.
