    Now that these Gilligs have hit service, you can ride a bus from every current bus manufacturer with a Metrocard. Gillig New Flyer Novabus Prevost MCI Proterra NY tri state area has a very diverse bus fleet.

    The R211 must be in the CI overhaul shop as I rode by CI barn just now and didn't see the 211s in there, only the 46s and 68s.

    Since when do the Bergen Beach and Kings Plaza B41s have separate stops at the junction??? Could have been like this for years but today I just noticed this..

    I wonder why these buses haven't hit service yet. I notice that NICE doesn't have the test period with a pliot bus like the MTA does.

    A train was stuck on the S/B Express track at 59th street CC on the A/D lines at the same time so everything had to run local. They even sent a down the 8th Ave local track for whatever reason. Broadway lost power too. The B div was a mess during the PM rush today. , and were the only lines that ran normal during this period.

    is out north of 181 due to flooding at Dykeman, surprised that's the only weather related service change right now.

    Yep, these cars. The one on display in the museum will be in the parade, had to be towed by a diesel, hasn't ran on it's own power since 1969 according to the news.

    One of the BU gate cars will be in the "hometown heroes" parade tomorrow... towed on a truck. IMO they should use a bus from the Transit Museum collection instead.

    I got to ride an R68A train today from Columbus Circle to Broadway Junction. Well it was an Yankee Special but it traveled over the line. First time catching one that went down Fulton Street. It was clutch as line service was delayed to the point that they sent the behind us on the express track to Eucild.

    Beautiful railcar but I'm not an fan of the reduced seating AT ALL. They are an downgrade from the R46 in that regard. Should have cut and paste the door size from the R160s. With that being said, I wonder if they went to the overhaul shop or the inspection barn at CI. Can't wait until we see videos of these cars running under their own power!

    Today I rode on an R142 with an leaky A/C, it was pouring water. The guy who got water on his shirt smelled it, perhaps he thought someone was standing on the roof of the train peeing inside the car haha. First time I ever been on an NTT with A/C water leaking inside the car.

    In digital ads in the subway system, the MTA is promoting the bus routes that go to CI in addition to the subway lines that go there. However the B82 local is missing even though it goes to CI as well. Thought that was odd.

    If you're planning to take the subway in Brooklyn today.... don't! Drive, take Uber/Lyft or the bus. has an 24 minute headway, N/B trains are running on 18 minute headway, is replaced by an shuttle bus for a portion of its route, etc. Its a mess out here.

    Today their was 2-3 sets of Metro North M3s running in service during the midday hours, nice! The runs I rode were all M7s but it's nice to see the old classics running in off peak service.

    My Rahway short turn train is delayed at North Elizabeth due to the train crew needing "police assistance" SMH. First time this ever happened to me on commuter rail. Always wanted to fan these weekend Rahway short turns, for some reason it departed from track 14 at NYP.... a LIRR track, didn't know NJT had departures on the LIRR side of penn on weekends.

    The R32s stored at Canarsie yard have been moved, 8 cars of R42s is now at Canarsie Yard instead. No idea where those R32s went nor why theres now R42s in the yard. EDIT: the R32s were moved to 207th street yard.

    The A & C lines have heavy weekend ridership, not surprised its bustution is an all hands on deck shuttle. Avoided like the plaque until today, got an Nova Artic from WF! Canarsie L to the A riders have it rough this weekend, L running as an shuttle every 24 minutes, and the A is out between Utica and Jay street, yikes.

    Got an R46 with good A/C today, always nice when that happens, especially on a day like today. Humidity was brutal today!
