  3. Here's a BxQ4 https://drive.google.com/open?id=1s3qOsuT46EbAnAeWCtTwi7l2Gve-jReF&usp=sharing Wakefield - Williamsbridge - Baychester - Co-Op City - Pelham Bay - Throgs Neck - North Flushing - LGA Makes local stops in Bronx until Buhre Av/Bruckner, then no stops until Whitestone/Linden, then no stops until LGA Terminals. SPLIT between LGA and Eastchester Depots, uses MCI D4500CL and XD40. Uses OMNY, $2.75 Thoughts? YES, THERE IS A WEST BRONX COUNTERPART IN THE WORKS! THESE MAPS ARE JUST HARD TO MAKE! I SHOULD HAVE IT SOON.
  4. In my Cross City Line Proposal (map below), I said that it should run Nippon Sharyo DMUs and Stadler FLIRTs (specifically the British Rail Class 755 type) As the CCL would be part of the LIRR, could you run the aforementioned trains on it? Thanks for the advice. https://drive.google.com/open?id=179231QrKel3iz9fE1Cl8iRE_JpU5hlso&usp=sharing
  5. $8? You'd get no takers. Just keep the QBx2.
  6. Here is the revised and finalized Cross City Line Map! https://drive.google.com/open?id=179231QrKel3iz9fE1Cl8iRE_JpU5hlso&usp=sharing I came up with TPH and fleet assignments as well: TPH Rockaway Line: 2TPH non-rush, 6TPH rush West Side Line: 2TPH non-rush, 4TPH rush Central Line: 3TPH all times Triboro Line: 8TPH all times, 4TPH on each Bronx Branch. Fleet: Rockaway Line: Stadler FLIRT (electro-diesel multiple unit) West Side Line: Stadler FLIRT (electro-diesel multiple unit) Central Line: Nippon Sharyo DMU (diesel multiple unit) Triboro Line and Branches: Nippon Sharyo DMU (diesel multiple unit)
  7. My main plan is here: In my plan, SAS has a different layout, so the track setup would be different. Ah, true, I never thought about extending the to Flushing, that could work, so I'm all ok with Northern. Maybe an to Whitestone, to Flushing, Northern Exp to Bayside, and Northern Lcl to Fresh Meadows. Lower Montauk-Bushwick Branch-South 4th could work, but then no Midtown service. See my plan for the . Thoughts about my plan?
  8. XD40s on the M11? Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa?
  9. @KK 6 Ave Local here is my proposed service plan: Routes: Hanover Sq - 2 Av - 79 St Tunnel - Northern - Fresh Meadows from brooklyn - 2 Av - Mid-Bronx - Throgs Neck 61 St - West Side - 79 St Crosstown/Tunnel - 21 St - North Queens - Bayside Hanover Sq - 2 Av - Randalls Island - North Queens - Whitestone 18th - Culver - Crosstown - 21 St - Randalls Island - 2 Av/125 St - 125 St/Bway Lines 2 Av Tunnel whole line 125 St Crosstown Tunnel whole line Mid-Bronx Viaduct 125th to 174th Highway ROW 174th to Throgs Neck West Side/79 St Crosstown/79 St Tunnel Tunnel whole line 21 St Tunnel whole line North Queens Tunnel 31st to 32 Av, 32 Av to Clearview Highway ROW 32 Av to Whitestone, Clearview to Bayside Northern/Fresh Meadows Tunnel 33 Rd to Flushing Viaduct Flushing to Fresh Meadows Randalls Island Crossing Highway ROW 31st to Randalls Island Bridge Randalls Island to 102 St-1 Av Tunnel 102 St-1 Av to 96th or 106th Tracks: 2 Av Hanover to 63rd: 2 tracks 63rd to 125th: 4 tracks 125 St Crosstown 2 tracks Mid-Bronx 125th to 174th: 2 tracks 174th to Throgs Neck: 3 tracks (peak-direction service runs express) West Side/79 St Crosstown/79 St Tunnel 2 tracks 21 St 2 tracks North Queens 21 St to Flushing: 4 tracks ( local, express) Flushing to Bayside: 2 tracks Flushing to Whitestone: 2 tracks Northern/Fresh Meadows 2 tracks Randalls Island Crossing 2 tracks Fleet Assignments: R211, R179 R160, R68, R46 R68, R46 R179, R211 R160, R211 TPH: 15TPH 15TPH, except rush, then 10TPH, is 5TPH 15TPH 15TPH 10TPH Thoughts?
  10. This is what I meant: 2 2-track crossings - one a tunnel on 79 St, and one a bridge across Randalls Island map here: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1nFHPcYFkO79XPvn-ZhsvsA20xq4FqjBR&usp=sharing @Wallyhorse I included the 79 St-1 Av Station. Thoughts @KK 6 Ave Local @Wallyhorse @mrsman @Around the Horn?
  11. Your is my (Y), so I agree with that. Your (P): Change it so that the end in Queens is Fresh Meadows, and truncate it to Hanover Sq. (That’s my ) This is via 79 St Tunnel, correct? I’d say cut your . Change it to Bayside - Astoria Blvd Local - Randalls Island - 2 Av/125 St Your (Y) would carry air. Just use the to should cross at 79th Tunnel then 2 Av/125 St should be a Bronx Crosstown (Throgs Neck-Highbridge, then down to Harlem), IMO. If we do via 2nd, then maybe have to Gun Hill and to Throgs Neck. Also, add an Whitestone - Astoria Bl Exp - 2 Av Exp. 2 Av is quadruple-tracked, correct?
  12. For Northern Queens: Make a rail crossing at Randalls Island, and a tunnel at 79th. Connect 79th to Northern and Randalls to Ditmars. extension to 125th/Bway via 21 St and 79 St Tun/2 Av/125 St. becomes the Northern Line becomes the Ditmars Exp becomes the Ditmars Local starts at 61st/Freedom and goes up the West Side to 79th, then via 79th crosstown to 79th Tunnel, then up 21st to Ditmars. Ditmars Line ends in Flushing. The goes to Bayside. The goes to Whitestone. The goes to Fresh Meadows (from Northern). goes to Auburndale. Mid-Queens: Reactivate RBB via SUBWAY. from JFK, then up Junction Bl to Northern, then Northern Exp to 79th Tunnel, then via the . Reactivate Lower Montauk PARTIALLY: E. Williamsburg to Jamaica Light Rail via Bushwick Branch and Lower Montauk. Starts at Montrose Av . TriboroRX: Bay Ridge to Port Morris, then split to Co-Op City and Riverdale. Runs DMUs. SE Queens Line. Laurelton - St Albans - S. Jamaica - Jamaica - Corona - joins , but terminates at Hanover Sq instead of 61st. That’s roughly my plan. thoughts @KK 6 Ave Local?
  13. I'd say subway - there's no connection to Manhattan. Why not light rail?
  14. No, this would be a light rail that can also run on subway.
  15. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1KqU_BnY3NDaOs5QypGaqtPtmZduGHrJbWapC5y-zMgI/edit?usp=sharing for SAS connections. https://drive.google.com/open?id=1SL9wr0A2fQfvlNLk79LPr3s0hpRt39M2&usp=sharing - the (MQ) train. I've got more - PM me and I'll send links Thoughts?
  16. I proposed earlier a SIM12C that would run from 79th-York to Tottenville. I just thought that uptown residents might want to go to SI. Would the SIM12C work?
  17. It could run via Brooklyn IF somehow we could access the north shore easily. But, also you could say that most of the traffic on the Tunnel is from I95, this is via 1-9. That’s the rationale.
  18. I'd say run NB buses up Riverdale Av/HH Pkwy, but its your route.
  19. SIM50 GWB Bus Station to New Dorp via: HH Pkwy - 79 St - Bway - 42 St - Lincoln Tunnel - US 1-9 - I78 - NJ440 - Richmond Av - Hylan Blvd. Thoughts @danig1220 @checkmatechamp13 @Deucey
  20. The QBx2A will have a ridership of 0. There is NO demand for a Riverdale-Queens service except if it is going to LGA. The QBx2B should be run-at-all times, and NON-STOP from LGA to Kingsbridge. So, Cut the QBx2A. The QBx2B could run with Kingsbridge buses, but only Nova LFSs, as the NGs and LFSAs can't be on the highway for that long. Maybe make a map on google my maps to better explain your route?
  21. 1: your line goes to Jackson Heights. The QBx2 to LGA was what I said. That would have ridership 2: no, it needs to get on in Tremont, latest. It would be extremely slow if it got on only in Mott Haven 3: then it needs to be express. there are no MTAB local depots except eastchester, which is far from this line. 4: see 3 5: which depot?
