Isn't Baisley Park a pretty small depot? They have a lot of buses sitting out and around the depot and they're already full to the brim, what with artics and all. From what it looks like they're picking up the 2 heaviest CP lines, one of them being a maybe SBS in the future as well. All the hawk drivers are gonna have a harder time to deadhead as well, they all gotta file through Guy R Brewer Blvd which is quite narrow as it is or end up taking the Van Wyck which is traffic-ridden during parts of the day. Yonkers residents weren't too thrilled with the bus depot, to begin with so perhaps it might be better to consolidate bus service to one depot but I think that will increase the mileage on a lot of deadheads.

Dang. A few days ago, everybody was ripping R42N's head off because their TTC source was found to be unreliable when in fact, they were off by a day. When does the first trip start tho on Sunday?

I think the Metrocard machines actually take fare when signed in as an SBS still. A lady dipped her metrocard once and the noise for fare paid went off.

Saw 1016 doing driver training on the Bx36 today. So that line is prob getting prepped for artics but then again it does see artics during rush hour so they could just be covering their asses sooner rather than later.

That wouldn't be too bad. I don't think the Q33 runs frequently enough to have 2 buses in the terminal but I've definitely seen 2 buses in the Q49 lane.

That's true, I doubt they will make it pull into 74th. First, they can barely fit the entire bus into the terminal with the back end sticking out is a definite no-no and its the shortest lane and you can't switch the lanes wither cause the turning radius would make it impossible. They'll probably put two stops on the street and call it a day. Let the tourists figure it out lol.

A few months ago, I was on a n/b B49 and we pulled into Ocean Pkwy & Avenue U. Relief Operator was tardy by 30 minutes. Apparently, she was traveling on a B3, dunno if it was late but I think it wasn't even the first B3 to arrive, it was maybe the second or third one. Later on, along the route, we were passed by an empty B49. Smh, I would understand if you were several minutes late but not 30 minutes late. Made the bus ride miserable. The original operator was pissed as well cause he can't leave the bus unattended.

Is it possible for 8126 to be repaired or is it too early to tell? And I don't think CNG's have been sent to storage (Idk) because of their CNG tanks, they have a strict timeline for them to follow, unlike diesel tanks which can hold up longer. It would be a waste to not use a CNG bus because they can only last for so long until they have to be taken off the road.

Wouldn't the Bx9 SBS have to share Bx12's machines at the +Select stops? Seems like a recipe for fare beating to me. But then again, you'll still have to pay $2.75 to get the first ticket and you're not gonna bother swiping again unless you have to connect with the train at some point or just farebeat the whole trip altogether.

Isn't the Q44 always gonna be faster than the Q17? The Q17 has to head east on Hillside Ave, then a left on 188th street, then a left on HHE and right on Kissena. The Q44 is a straight-shot down to Jamaica making very few stops and traffic is never terribly bad on Main St. I've seen drivers flooring it down Main St.
