If an express bus breaks down, I’d rather them send out an local bus to cover service. Rather have a local bus try to make service than no bus. They might be governed so they’ll be going really slow on the expwy. Ulmer Park definitely has some spare local buses, it’s a shame to send a local bus out and make sure they don’t make it a habit.

Lol the best way to quickly retire buses is to put them on the Bx9 route. Have them climb Kingsbridge Terrace over and over.

Lately, I feel like the subway has gotten a lot better. I know that everyone might not agree but to a certain extent, most operators I feel are hauling ass once again especially on express runs. Idk if I get lucky with operators or they're actually removing useless timers such as the one at 74th st on the (7). Dispatch is a whole nother story because when you see multiple trains approaching the terminal, how do you not have the common sense to start sending some trains out?? The subway has improved a tiny bit IMO, though there are still lots of problems that need to be addressed like flooding.

I think bus drivers lately have been blowing past stops and missing stop requests left and right. There are clearly people waiting at the bus stop and they basically drive past them with blatant disregard. It wasn’t dependent on the age either because I’ve seen old farts and young recruits do it. It’s getting ridicoulous when someone is sitting at a bench, bus stop unimpeded and you’re the only one to stop there. But maybe they just get tired of pulling into bus stops when old seniors just sit there and watch grass grow.

Anyone have news on how well the Double Decker pilot program performed? Are they planning on bringing it back or nah?
