They stopped for downtown ONLY because there is a punchbox for the lineup. Operators MUST punch in for the lineup to proceed out of the station. Otherwise, dispatchers wouldn't know which position the switch shld be in. The goes right onto the track after 57th Street.

Took the 7 shuttle between Main St and Mets-Willets Pt and honestly it was god awful. It was like they invented a new torture method. Halfway crossing the bridge it has to merge into one lane cause god-knows-wtf-they're doing with their truck parked in that position and even leading up to the bridge we had to sit through a good 6 light cycles. Traffic at Main St erupted from this and I definitely was not gonna put up with this shit on my way back. When we pulled into the Mets-Willets station, I look into the CS yard and I see so many of those XD60's and 40-footers just sitting there... Rly pisses me off. Why don't they just give the shuttle work to CS or bring in some damn artics? They had sm buses sitting in that yard. You can't be crying broke if you got perfectly good buses that would be much more efficient at transporting people but you'd rather have more people to pay out on the streets causing even more congestion. Main St was not pretty in the evening either... Traffic caused buses on several lines to have 5+ bunched up

Nah means someone either vomited or shit in the train car. They used the same term when I asked why a car was shut down. In that instance, it was vomit, a very small amount.

So they took down the walls at 174-175 and as per usual, it looks like no work has been done. They plastered some random areas and I think they redid the staircase but tiling still looks about the same with random plastering everywhere. Only saw 1 guy walking throughout the entire station. I thought Concourse was gonna be good too...

Okay so I’m in the Q7 rn and the timetable says it’s to complete the entire trip in 28 minutes. Simply impossible. No matter how much the bus op floors it, he won’t make it to Euclid at 9:58, it’s 9:58 and we just turned onto Cross Bay Blvds. Goddamn.

I think the Bx6 shouldn't have gotten SBS treatment tbh. Don't get me wrong, the bus is quick but there didn't seem to be enough ridership to warrant it. Once it's past Hunts Point Av, ridership tanks and then the B/O's tokyo drift it out along Food Center Drive lol. I think even the local's garner more ridership than the SBS does and that's something.

I definitely saw one out there across the platform from the holiday train at 125th st. Hopefully it's still out there. Good luck finding it!! :))

I think buses made in the year 2011 and after will be equipped with them, high-numbered C40LF's, XD40's with the Cuomo scheme and ones outta Stengel have them and prob more, NEW LFSA's

I'm curious. Have they installed automatic passenger counters on the express buses? I know they definitely put them on the new local fleet and placed them on older models as well for local service but I heard only 1 express bus got retrofitted with them? Has it expanded? That could be a good way for dispatchers to use in conjunction with BusTrek to provide more accurate and efficient service especially when there are gaps and bunching occurring. But this in no way means I push for stealing service from one line to provide to another...but it prob will in Mta's eyes. LOL
