With few bus service, I did most amazing trip this weekend with G.O before MET and after MET.

I fall overslept on Valentine Day.

I got on third car of Queensboro Plaza R62A Bombadier #1813, then departed Junction Blvd at 10:42, as I moved to 2nd car, #1812, then front car #1811.

Arrive Queensboro Plaza Upper Level at 10:59.

I got on front car of Coney Island-Stillwell Av-bound R160B Kawasaki #9042 departed Queensboro Plaza Lower Level at 11:01.

Arrive Lex Av/59th St @ 11:04.

Next I got on front car of Woodlawn-bound R142 Bombadier #1230 departed 59th St @ 11:07 with conductor announce, "No train."

As train approach 125th St, conductor announcement,

"Ladies & Gentlemen! If you need train service, take this train to 149th St-Grand Concourse for Wakefield-bound train to downstair on lower level to East 180th St for to Dyre Av."

Same at 149th St-Grand Concourse Upper Level, which arrives at 11:20.

Next I got on front car of Wakefield-241st St-bound R142 Bombadier #6851 departed 11:34.

here was train's announcement.

"Ladies & Gentlemen, there is no service. There is train to Dyre Av at East 180th St.

As train was approaching E. 180th St, "Ladies & Gentlemen, for Dyre Av , crossover to opposite platform for Dyre Av ."

Next I got valid proof-of-payment receipt from Select Bus Service MetroCard Fare Collector and board via rear door of Gun Hill New Flyer Artic Bx12(+) #5740 departed Fordham Rd/White Plains Rd @ 12:01, arrive Fordham Rd/Grand Concourse @ 12:10.

As I enter Fordham Rd Station, even it is my second time, I almost got lost until I came to wide area.

I help few minutes here, then I got on front car of Coney Island-Stillwell Av-bound R46 Pulmman #5946 departed 34th St-Herald Sq Downtown Track at 13:03.

As approaching 14th St, here was announcement.

"Ladies & Gentlemen, due to construction work, there is NO TRAIN SERVICE. For 8th Av, 14th St-Union Square, transfer to M14 BUS on Street Level. There is no train service at West 4th St. For Grand St, transfer to free shuttle bus at West 4th St."

Arrive West 4th St @ 13:11.

I got on Manhattanville Nova RTS-06 #8787 on Bus departed 6th Av/3rd St @ 13:19. Some got on Bus at Broadway-Lafayette by mistake instead of M21 bus, and she said, I miss Bowery, and B/O replied this is station stop only. Arrive Grand/Forsyth Sts @ 13:40.

I got on 126th St Nova RTS-06 #9504 on bus departed Grand/Christie Sts @ 13:46, and got delay on Houston St little due to fire activity nearby, but not bad, and arrive 6th Av/3rd St 14:01.

Next I got on front car of Coney Island-Stillwell Av-bound R46 Pullman #6103 departed West 4th St @ 14:03,

This conductor said as he was approaching Broadway-Lafayette, "there is NO TRAIN service at Broadway-Lafayette, passengers wishing for Brooklyn service, transfer to train to Canal St for Brooklyn-bound to Atlantic Av-Pacific St for service.

I spotted R42 while I got on at West 4th St.

As I was riding along Culver Line, I saw few more R42 .

As I head to express track, I said, "NO train. Uptown LOCAL IS RUNNING EXPRESS TO 59TH ST."

I got on front car of 168th St-Washington Heights-bound local via 8th Av Express R44 St. Louis #5216 departed 16:54, arrive 59th St-Columbus Circle @ 17:00 with conductor making all stops to 168th St.

Next I got on front car of Van Cortlandt Park-242nd St-bound R62A Bombadier #2361 departed @ 1704.

Here is announcement as approaching 72nd St: "Ladies & Gentlemen, because of construction work, all uptown trains will be bypass 79th, 86th, and 96th Sts. If you need service, transfer at 72nd St. 72nd St will be last transfer point. For bypass station, stay on this train to 103rd St, and transfer to downtown train making local stops."

At 72nd St, some one was holding door for solider lady, who made into like as if was in Vietnam War. She talk about vietam war and as I was typing transit only info, she told me to write down, but my memo pad is for transit business only. She was funny and she made everyone on car .

I thought downtown Local was running CPW Express from 125th-59th St, but Lower Level was also at 81st St-AMNH.

I got on front car of Rockaway Park-Beach 116th St-bound local R44 St. Louis #5332 departed 20:04, arrive 59th St-Columbus Circle @ 20:07.

Next, I got on front car of 34th St-Herald Sq-bound WA #2738 departed 20:14, arrive 34th St-Herald Sq UPTOWN EXPRESS TRACK @ 20:12.

I help for few minutes, trying to look for R42 doing the , but I gave up and got on front car of Jamaica-179th St-bound R46 Pullman 5490 departed 20:52, arrive Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Av @ 21:17, and took crowded escalator ride up to 74th St-Broadway.

Call home after one lady finish and rush up to stair,

Next, I got on fourth car of Flushing-Main St-bound R62A Bombadier #1907 departed 21:18, switch to 3rd car #1981, 2nd car #1939, and front 1977, and arrive Junction Blvd at 21:22.

Sunday, February 15th. I broke my record of visting all 17 NYPL in Upper Harlem area within 19 buses by taking 23 (NYCT)!

I was helping few minutes when there was Spanish/Hispanic lady looking to go to Prospect Park, and since I was planning to check out Bus, I gladly like to help her.

I show her to Grand Army Plaza and she said thank you. She told me I was very kind.

As approaching 34th St-Herald Sq, "Ladies & Gentlemen, because of no train service, trains are extended to Astoria, Queens. Because of Construction, trains are running in 2 sections. Between 34th St-Herald Sq and Norwood-205th St and between Atlantic Av-Pacific St and Coney Island. If you need Brooklyn service, cross over to opposite platform for Brooklyn-bound train to Atlantic Av-Pacific St.

At Times Sq, "Ladies Gentlemen, there is no train service. This is why train is extend to Astoria-DItars Blvd, Queens. Stay on this train to Queensboro Plaza for service to Flushing-Main St."

We rush to Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Av where we got on front car of Lower East Side-2nd Av-bound R160A Alstom #9283 departed 9:55, arrive 34th St-Penn Station @ 10:12.

I escort him to Mega Bus ticket on confirmation ticket is already wrotten on, so he was good to go.

He got on 11am Philadelphia Trailways #255 departed two minutes early at 10:58, and as I was about to re enter subway, there was another man rushing and signal to stop, but bus did not stop for him and left.

There were still lots of passengers still waiting for downtown express because red tape was not enough.

When I got out I was disappointed that NG was only during the Ft. Washington Av Bus.

He was very kind driver and he drop off passengers at Vermiyea Av/204th St, then Isham St, then due to bus congestion, he drop everyone off at Isham/211th Sts.

I got valid receipt and boarded the New Flyer Artic Bx12(+) #5756 departed Broadway/207th St @ 17:36.

Lots of crazy car drivers.

At Fordham Plaza, one lady STILL DID NOT KNOW ABOUT BX12(+) does not accept fare onboard the bus. She was still confuse even we told them machine is in bus shelter.

Arrive Bay Plaza Mall/JC Penny @ 18:17.

I got darted into JC Penny and got valid receipt and boarded the New Flyer Artic Bx12(+) #4575, and again there was shopper who did not know about SBS policy, so I quickly show her the machine and rush back to bus, and departed 18:23.

At Southern Blvd, there were few passengers did not know about SBS fare policy, but made it with receipt.

At Grand Concourse, one man paid on SBS. I thought everyone knows how to use it because it started on June 2008. One lady who speaks Spanish who were onboard translate to him in Spanish concept about this SBS.

At 207th St/10th Av, eldery lady boarded the bus without receipt and she tries to pay her fare on SBS, but we told her, "You have to get receipt or you'll get $100 fine."

Arrive Broadway/207th St @ 19:10.

I got on West Farms New Flyer Artic on Broadway departed 19:12, and we got little few minute delay at 175th St Stop due to fire activity nearby, but truck soon left, and arrive Broadway/168th St @ 19:32.

I got on front car of Rockaway Park-Beach 116th St-bound local R40A St. Louis #4370 Slanted departed 19:37, and b/c I was enjoying the railfan window, I complete forgot about urine explosion and worry, and arrive 42nd St-PABT @ 20:03.

I help again as I head for uptown platform. When I told them, no to Spring, Canal Sts, WTC, lady ask me how do I go to Spring St and I told her and her friend to take local, making stops.

On Uptown platform, I help again because Uptown local replacing is running express to 59th St, while is local.

As I was doing that, I made to front car of Jamaica Center-bound R42 St. Louis #4622 departed 20:08, arrive Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Av @ 20:23.

I used escalator and it was not bad crowded like weekend to 74th St-Broadway where I got on front car of Flushing-Main St-bound R62A Bombadier departed 20:28, arrive Junction Blvd @ 20:32.

That's departure time and Mega Bus using Philadelphia Trailways's bus # was #255.

Since Select Bus Service is only on the Bx12 it's still confusing. People still aren't familiar with it.

Slightly off-topic, when I went to search for Nova LFS yesterday, but local B/O told me it was running on 17th, but will be all day on 18th, so I took Bx12(+) again with female B/O departed Pelham Bay Park at 18:19.

Do you know what happened at Eastchester Rd?

Heavyweight lady boarded the bus and she was trying to paid with MetroCard.

Female B/O was trying to be polite that she needs a receipt to board on this bus. That lady didn't feel like going to machine. Female B/O told her if you don't want to get receipt, take local.

After rude lady got off SBS, she spit on female B/O and female B/O exit the bus and told her not to spit her. I was scared that rude lady might attack B/O just like B/O on B46, Q66, M104.
